Academic Focus

Art, art history, civilization studies, drawing/painting, fine/studio arts, history, Italian language and literature, Italian studies, music, music history, music performance, photography, visual and performing arts.

Session

Minimum 2 week sessions held year-round; month-long sessions held May–Aug.

Venue

Headquartered in Florence, Italy. Optional travel to Rome, Venice, Verona at an extra cost.

Living Arrangements

Students live in locally rented apartments, host family homes. Quarters are shared with host institution students, students from other programs. Meals are taken on one's own, with host family, in residences, in restaurants.

Requirements

Minimum age 18; open to freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, adults; 2.25 GPA; 2 letters of recommendation; good academic standing at home school; no foreign language proficiency required.
